Nail Found: Artist Visibility Platform

Challenge

Finding the right nail artist is frustrating. People spend hours scrolling Instagram and TikTok trying to figure out pricing, style and availability from random posts and still end up booking someone who turns out to be the wrong fit.

On the other side, talented independent nail artists struggle to get discovered. They spend more time creating content to stay visible online than actually doing their work, with no reliable way to reach people who are actively looking for them.

Nail Found wanted to solve both sides of this problem by building a centralized platform where people in Tampa Bay, Florida, USA could browse, compare and connect with nail artists all in one place.

Solution

We designed and developed a mobile-first web platform focused on one thing: making discovery fast and easy for both sides.

People looking for a nail artist can browse a visual grid of profiles, filter by location, service and price and reach out directly. Artists create their own profile, upload their portfolio and start getting discovered without needing to constantly post on social media.

Key Features

Visual Discovery Grid

The core of the platform is a clean, scrollable grid of artist profiles. People can filter by neighborhood, service type, price range and whether the artist is currently taking new appointments. Every profile card shows what matters most upfront so people can find the right fit without clicking through endless pages.

Artist Profiles

Each artist gets a dedicated profile page with a portfolio of images, a list of services and starting prices, a short bio and buttons to reach out via their preferred contact method including Instagram, SMS or email. Artists can also toggle whether they are currently accepting new appointments so people always know before they reach out.

Main Onboarding

Artists join the platform by completing a four-step setup: basic info, professional background, services and pricing and portfolio upload. The whole process takes under ten minutes and artists go live automatically once they submit.

Save and Revisit

People can create a free account to save artists they like and come back to them later. Saved artists are accessible from a personal dashboard, making it easy to compare a shortlist before deciding.

Admin Controls

The Nail Found team has a backend dashboard to manage artist listings, monitor platform activity and track key behaviors like profile views, saves and booking link clicks. This gives them the data they need to understand how people use the platform and what to build next.

Design Philosophy

The platform is designed for people making visual decisions on their phones. The layout puts portfolio images front and center. Filters are minimal and fast to use. Price and availability are visible before anything else because those are the first two things anyone wants to know.

The artist side follows the same logic. Onboarding is step-by-step and straightforward. The artist dashboard shows only what they need to manage their profile and track how they are performing.
